This Saturday is DFA's National Day of Service. It's right before the PA primary and we will be doing phone banking to help increase turnout in the primary. Among others we'll be calling for DFA's own Anne Dicker who is running for Philly's 175th district seat

Virginia Schrader dropped out of the PA-08 race yesterday.Today DFA will be posting a grassroots survey to vote for 10 congressional candidates (from a list of 40) to compete to be on the DFA ALL STARS EARLY endorsement list. Taking our state back one election at a time

I thought Santorum was being  remade into a Moderate? I wondered that when I saw the picture this week of Santorum with Randall Terry in Florida.Terry has been linked to all sorts of provoked violence at abortion clinics.

I live in Pa and in the eighties did abortion escorts here in Philadelphia. I learned to live with the Opeartion Resue people who consistently tried to provoke the escorts. Well one Saturday Randall Terry shows up with a busload of the usual suspects carrying their obnoxious signs. I was escorting a very upset teenager and saw Terry behind one of the barricades whispering and pointing to us. As I walked with this teenager down the path in to the building, a foot came out and tripped me..

She was totally inspired yesterday.She told me she couldn't see her self running ( I could) but maybe she could be a speech writer for a politician.

We snuck in with real DNC caucus passes so we sat on the floor among people who will  actually be voting. We were right right next to the press table. There were 2 press people who seemed to be doing an awful lot of scribbling when Dean spoke.

The people in front seemed to be impressed with Leland, but I heard a lot of clapping from the caucus members behind me when Dean spoke. As writen previously Dean made the best comment of the day.

After it was over I went up to the front with my daughter to see if we could meet Dr Dean. I told him that I was a DFA chair and then introduced my daughter. He was very encouraging to her about being involved and I was again struck my how genuine he is. You can't fake that or buy that or teach that. It's the real deal.

Working on a local level inthe last election, I
noticed that things were pretty disorganized here
in regards to computers.

1. minimal blogs
   
2. no local and or state wide list servs
   
3. local web sites not updated in a year
   
4. I also heard that the candiates don't have a shared database?

Any thoughts on this from the PA people?

the candidate who runs against Santorum is going to need all the help he /she can get!!!!!
